I can't believe how much better I feel without the extreme mood swings. Totally worth the slight dizziness for me!

I switched from Lamictal to the generic and noticed no difference in side effects. Just a thought if you want to save some money.
Have you told your doctor about the side effects? They might be able to adjust your dose or suggest something to help.
Be careful with this one. I had a friend who had a pretty bad reaction and ended up in the hospital. Serious stuff.
