I've been taking Lamotrigine ER 100mg Tablets for about 6 months now, and I wanted to share my experience. As someone with bipolar disorder, this medication has been a game-changer in stabilizing my mood swings. The extended-release formula has been really helpful in keeping my energy levels consistent throughout the day. However, I did experience some side effects, particularly during the initial weeks of treatment. I remember having some dizziness and fatigue, but my doctor assured me these were common and should subside with time. I also had a bit of anxiety about the potential for serious skin rashes, so I made sure to follow the gradual dosage increase as prescribed. Overall, I'm really glad I stuck with it because it's made a significant difference in my quality of life. I'm curious to hear from others: Have you had any similar experiences, or were your side effects different? Do you have any tips for managing the initial adjustment period?

I've been taking it for a while and it's been a huge help for my epilepsy. Just remember, the side effects are usually temporary and it's important to follow your doctor's instructions closely. Trust me, it's worth it.

I'm so glad I found this thread. I've been considering switching to Lamotrigine, and hearing everyone's experiences is really helpful. I'm a bit worried about the side effects, but it sounds like sticking with it is key. Has anyone had any long-term issues with Lamotrigine?

I started Lamotrigine a few months ago and it's definitely helped with my seizures, but the dizziness was brutal at first. Anyone have any tips for dealing with that?

I had some pretty intense mood swings when I first started, but my doctor assured me it was part of the adjustment period. Stick it out, and it will get better. The extended-release version really helped me stabilise my moods.

I've been on Lamotrigine for a year now, and while it's helped with my seizures, I had some pretty severe dizziness and fatigue at the beginning. My doctor recommended taking it at night and gradually increasing my dosage. It took a few weeks, but it eventually got better. There were days when I felt like I was walking on clouds, but it was definitely worth it.

I had a really bad allergic reaction to Lamotrigine. It was terrifying—my skin was all red and swollen, and I had trouble breathing. I ended up in the ER, but thankfully, I'm okay now. I wish I had known about the skin rash risks earlier. If you experience any unusual symptoms, get to a doctor immediately.

I've seen a lot of people mention the skin rash. I've been lucky to avoid that, but I did have some weird issues with my eyes and vision. My doctor said it might have been related to the meds, but I'm not sure. Anyone else have eye problems?

I was really anxious about starting Lamotrigine because of all the side effects I read about. But honestly, it's been manageable for me. Just take it as prescribed and stay in close contact with your doctor. It's worth the hassle for the stability it brings.

Lamotrigine has been a lifesaver for my bipolar disorder. The extended-release version has made a huge difference in my daily stability. Just be patient with the titration process—it's worth it in the end.
