I agree, the allergic reaction symptoms should not be taken lightly. I've seen people get really ill from this med. If you feel something is off, go get checked out. Trust your instincts and ALWAYS communicate with your doctor.

I had a really bad reaction to Lamotrigine. I developed a rash and had trouble breathing. It was terrifying, and I ended up in the ER. I would urge anyone starting this medication to be extremely cautious and to talk to their doctor immediately if they notice any signs of an allergic reaction. This drug isn't for everyone.
I actually had a friend who got HLH because of Lamotrigine. He was in the hospital for weeks and it was horrible. I hope they run a lot of tests before prescribing this to anyone.
