I've been taking Lansoprazole ODT 30mg Tablets for a few months now to manage my acid reflux, and I've found them to be quite effective. The orally disintegrating tablets are convenient and dissolve quickly on my tongue. However, I've experienced some side effects like headaches and occasional constipation. I'm curious if anyone else has had similar experiences or knows of any remedies to mitigate these side effects. Additionally, I'm interested in hearing about any alternative treatments or preventive measures people have found helpful.

This is my first time hearing about this medication, what would be a good starting option?

I switched to the ODT version because the regular tablets were hard to swallow. The convenience of the ODTs is a game-changer.

I've been on Lansoprazole for a while and haven't had any major side effects. It's been a lifesaver for my acid reflux. I've tried other medications in the past, but this one works the best for me. As for side effects, I do experience occasional diarrhea, but it's not severe enough to stop taking the medication. It's a trade-off I can live with.

You guys should talk to your doctors about switching to a lower dose or different medication if the side effects are too much. Don't just suffer through it.

This medicine saved my life. I had severe ulcers and nothing else worked. The side effects are just a small price to pay for the relief I got.
