Lantus Solostar Pen Inj 3ml Insulin: Side Effects and Management Discussion
I've recently been prescribed Lantus Solostar Pen Inj 3ml for my diabetes management, and I'm curious to hear from others who have used it. What have your experiences been like? Have you encountered any of the serious side effects mentioned, such as allergic reactions or signs of low potassium levels? How do you manage the more common side effects like irritation at the injection site or headaches? Any tips for keeping blood sugar levels stable throughout the day?

I've had some muscle cramps and abnormal heartbeats, which I'm guessing are from low potassium levels. I'm going to talk to my doctor about it, but has anyone else dealt with this?
Lantus has been great for me. I haven’t had any serious side effects, but I do get headaches sometimes. Drinking lots of water helps a bit.
I think the key is to be vigilant about your blood sugar levels. I check mine multiple times a day and adjust my diet and activity accordingly. It's a lot of work, but it's worth it to stay healthy.
I had a really bad allergic reaction to Lantus. It was terrifying, but thankfully my doctor switched me to another insulin. If you experience any severe symptoms, don't wait—go to the ER.
