Watching my grandfather go through this is heartbreaking and I hate these IV's. I wouldn't do it even if it was me

I started my mom on Leqembi a few months ago, and while she hasn't had any serious side effects, I have noticed a slight improvement in her cognitive function. I've seen her getting better at remembering things and recognizing faces. I also had to get pre-approval from the insurance, but it was a relatively smooth process. I can't believe the coughing can be a side effect
I've been giving my father Leqembi for a little while now, and I have to say, the IV infusions are a bit challenging. I was advised that we could try and do it at home but I feel more comfortable doing it in the clinic. Also, the long-term effects are still a mystery. If anyone has been on this for more than 6 months, I'd love to hear your thoughts. I do hope that over time it will slow the progression. I just miss who he used to be.
