I've been prescribed Levetiracetam 100mg/ml Solution to manage my epilepsy, and I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects. Has anyone else used this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, especially with the more severe side effects like hallucinations or liver problems. How common are these really? Also, I've heard it can affect mood and behavior. Has anyone experienced this? My doctor was really reassuring, but I'd feel better knowing more. Thanks in advance!

Just a heads up, make sure you don’t mix this with alcohol. It can make the side effects way worse. I made that mistake once and it was not fun.

I've had some issues with this medication. The fatigue was pretty bad at first, but I got used to it. I was really worried about the hallucinations and skin reactions, but thankfully, I haven't had any of those. Just be sure to report anything weird to your doctor right away.

I had to stop taking it because of the severe dizziness. It was so bad I could barely stand up. I switched to something else and it’s been better. I would definitely recommend talking to your doctor about other options if you experience anything like that.

I've been on Levetiracetam for a few months now, and honestly, it's been a game-changer. I haven't had any major side effects, just a bit of dizziness at first, but that went away. I had my doctor monitor my blood work regularly and I haven't had any problems. As for the mood changes, I actually feel more stable. Good luck with your treatment!

Has anyone else noticed changes in their appetite? I've been really hungry all the time since I started this medication. It’s like my metabolism just went crazy. Anyone else have this issue?

I had a really bad reaction to this medication. My skin started peeling and I had a high fever. I ended up in the ER and was diagnosed with Stevens-Johnson syndrome. It was terrifying, but I’m okay now. Please, if you experience any strange skin reactions, get to a doctor ASAP.

I had some weird dreams, but nothing too out there. Nothing like hallucinations. It was just a bit unsettling at first. But overall, it’s been a good experience for me.

Levetiracetam saved my life, literally. I was having multiple seizures a day before I started this medication. Now, I’m down to maybe one a month. The side effects were rough at first, but they were worth it. I did have some trouble with dizziness and weakness, but my doctor adjusted the dosage and it’s been much better since then. It's definitely worth talking to your doctor if you have any concerns.
