I was recently prescribed Levo-T 0.125mg (125mcg) tablets for hypothyroidism. I've been taking it for a few weeks and have noticed some changes, but I'm not sure if they're side effects or just part of the adjustment period. I've heard mixed things about the side effects, and I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced similar issues. The possible side effects list is pretty long, and I'm not sure what to look out for. For instance, I've been feeling a bit more tired than usual, but I'm not sure if that's just my body adjusting to the new medication or if it's something more serious. Has anyone else had a similar experience, and was it something to consult the doctor about? Also, I was wondering if anyone has any tips for managing potential side effects. Any advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated!

I had some pretty severe side effects when I first started taking Levo-T. I experienced a lot of mood swings and irritability, which was really tough to deal with. I ended up switching to a different brand, and that seemed to help a lot. If you're having serious issues, it might be worth talking to your doctor about trying a different formulation.

I've been on Levo-T for a year now, and honestly, it's been a lifesaver. My energy levels have improved, and I feel so much better overall. Just make sure you're getting regular blood tests to monitor your thyroid levels. Your doctor should guide you on this, but it's worth bringing up if they don't mention it.

Word to the wise: Don't forget to drink plenty of water! I was feeling really weak and dizzy for a while, but it turned out I was just dehydrated. It can happen more easily when you're adjusting to new meds.

I had sudden weight gain and swelling in my legs. I had no idea it was a side effect of Levo-T until I read the list of possible side effects online. It scared me, but I didn't know what to do. Anyway, I called my doctor immediately, and I was able to get an adjustment to the dosage.
