Levoxyl 0.075mg (75mcg) Tablets: My Experience and Questions About Side Effects
I was recently prescribed Levoxyl 0.075mg (75mcg) Tablets for hypothyroidism. I've been taking it for a few weeks now, and while I've noticed some improvements in my energy levels, I've also experienced some side effects that I'm not sure about. Specifically, I've had some mild hair loss and occasional muscle cramps. Has anyone else experienced these side effects? Are they normal, or should I be concerned? Also, how long does it typically take for the body to adjust to this medication? Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated.

I found that taking my Levothyroxine on an empty stomach helped with absorption and side effects. Might be worth a try.
I've been on Levoxyl for a couple of months and had similar side effects at first. My doctor said it's normal for the body to take some time to adjust. The hair loss should be temporary, but if it gets worse, definitely talk to your doctor.
I'm glad you're not having any severe symptoms, so far. But make sure to keep an eye out for any signs of an allergic reaction. If you notice a rash or hives, rush to the ER quickly.
I have a friend who had a bad reaction to it. I hope you won't have to worry about it.
