Levoxyl 0.125mg (125mcg) tablets: My experiences and questions about side effects
I've been prescribed Levoxyl 0.125mg (125mcg) tablets for my hypothyroidism and have been taking them for a few weeks now. I've noticed some changes, but I'm not sure if they're side effects or just my body adjusting. I've read about the possible side effects, but I wanted to hear from others who have taken this medication. Have any of you experienced hair loss, mood changes, or other side effects? How long did it take for them to subside? Also, I've heard that taking Levoxyl on an empty stomach is best, but I find it hard to remember. Do any of you have tips for remembering to take it at the right time?

I take mine in the morning and that works best for me too. It's also handy to have some reminders in place like a pill box or an app that will notify you.
I agree with the others. Stick with it, and talk to your doctor if you have any concerns. It's important to take it as prescribed. I’ve had a lot of changes as well, but everything is fine now.
I've been on Levoxyl for a while now, and I did experience some hair loss at first, but it grew back after a few months. Stick with it, and talk to your doctor if it persists.
I feel you. The side effects can be tough. But remember, it's better than feeling like a zombie all the time. Drink plenty of water and get lots of rest. That helps too.
I've heard that taking it with coffee can interfere with absorption. Might be worth a try if you're forgetting to take it on an empty stomach.
