I've been prescribed Lexapro 20mg tablets for my anxiety and depression. The doctor explained that it helps balance serotonin levels in the brain, which should improve my mood and reduce anxiety. Has anyone else had a similar experience with this medication? I'm curious about the side effects and how quickly it might start working. The list of possible side effects is a bit daunting, especially the urgent ones. I'm hoping to hear from others who have taken this medication and can share their insights.

I've been on it for a couple of weeks and I already feel more motivated. Hopefully, it continues to work well. I was just about to quit on everything and then found this. So glad I did!

I just started Lexapro last week and I've already got a headache. Is it too early to be worried? I've heard it gets better with time, but I'm anxious to get back to normal.

Lexapro saved my life. I was in a dark place and now I can actually enjoy things again. The side effects were minimal for me, just some initial drowsiness. Definitely worth a shot if you're struggling.

I had a bad reaction to Lexapro, ended up with a rash and some pretty bad stomach issues. My doctor switched me to something else, so it might be worth keeping an eye on things. I've heard it bother some people and not others. YMMV maybe?

I took Lexapro for a year and it was great, but the withdrawal symptoms when I stopped were awful. Brain zaps, dizziness, the works. Now I'm tapering off slowly. Do be careful with this one
