I've been prescribed Lidex 0.05% Cream for my eczema, and I'm a bit nervous about the severe side effects listed. Has anyone else had any negative experiences with this cream? I'm especially worried about the signs of high blood sugar and adrenal gland issues. Does anyone have advice on how to monitor for these symptoms effectively? Also, how common are these side effects really? My doctor reassured me, but it's hard not to worry. I've heard from some people that the burning sensation can be really intense. Is this something that goes away with continued use, or should I be concerned if it gets worse?

I'm really worried about the high blood sugar symptoms. I've had diabetes in the family, so I'm paranoid about those signs. I'm going to talk to my doctor about getting a blood test to monitor it. Anyone else have this concern?

I've used it for psoriasis and haven't had any major issues. Just make sure to apply a thin layer and don't use it on your face or genital areas unless your doctor tells you to. Side effects can be scary, but for me, it's been worth it to get my skin under control.

I'm lucky I didn't encounter any of the bad symptoms. Dry skin and itching initially but that went away quickly.

The thinning of the skin is what freaks me out the most. Mine is getting quite bad. I've had to go to the dermatologist for a moisturizer that can help. Has anyone had the same problem?

I had a friend who got Cushing's syndrome from using a similar steroid cream. It was scary stuff. I'd be really careful and keep an eye out for those symptoms.

I had a terrible reaction to Lidex. I got hives and my throat felt like it was closing up. Went to the ER and they said it was an allergic reaction. Be careful and watch out for those signs. Better safe than sorry!

I swear by this stuff for my eczema. It's a lifesaver. No side effects so far, and my skin is finally starting to look normal again. Just be smart and follow your doctor's advice.
