I've been using Lidex 0.05% Soln 60ml (Fluocinonide) for a few months now to manage my eczema and psoriasis. It's been a game-changer for reducing redness, swelling, and itching. The doctor explained that it works by calming down the skin's immune response, which makes sense because my flare-ups have significantly decreased. However, I've been cautious about the potential side effects, especially the urgent ones like allergic reactions and high blood sugar. I've had some burning and stinging, but nothing that's worried me so far. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Any tips on managing the side effects?

Lidex has been a lifesaver for my eczema. The only side effect I've noticed is some dry skin, but it's manageable.

I had a really bad reaction to Lidex, ended up with hives and swelling all over. Definitely worth talking to your doctor about alternative treatments if you have a similar reaction. It's worth the risk to some extent, but be careful!

This is a strong steroid but it's worth the side effects if you have severe psoriasis like mine.

I had to stop using Lidex because of the side effects. The burning and stinging were unbearable for me. I switched to a different topical and it's been much better.

I've also been using Lidex for my psoriasis and it's been amazing. I've had some skin irritation but nothing life-threatening. Just make sure to follow the doctor's instructions and monitor for any serious side effects.

I recently had a case study assigned on topical steroid side effects for my pharma studies and Lidex was discussed. It really does calm down your skin's immune response but it does have a lot of side effects. Be cautious.

I've been using Lidex for a while and I've noticed some thinning of the skin. It's a bit concerning, but my doctor assures me it's normal. Just something to keep an eye on.
