Hey everyone, I've been using Lidocaine 3% Cream for a few weeks now to manage some nerve pain, and it's been a game-changer. It really numbs the area and helps with the discomfort. However, I noticed some irritation at the site of application, which wasn't too bad but still something to keep an eye on. I wanted to share my experience and hear from others who might have used this. Also, the side effects listed are pretty extensive. Has anyone else experienced anything serious? I'm a bit concerned about the more severe symptoms like acidosis or methemoglobinemia. If anyone has more info or alternative suggestions, please share!

Be careful with this stuff. I had a bad reaction last time I used it. It's really important to patch test first.

I've used lidocaine for years, and it's been a lifesaver for minor skin procedures. Just be careful and follow your doctor's advice. Do not use it if you have allergies or skin infections.

I've heard that seizures and changes in vision are rare but possible. It's crazy to think about how serious these side effects can be. Has anyone experienced anything like this?

I've used lidocaine cream before for a minor skin procedure, and it worked great. No side effects for me, thankfully.

I got some redness and swelling at the site of application, but it went away after a few days. I guess everyone reacts differently, so it's important to monitor yourself closely.

I think this is a great option for nerve pain, but if you are using a rectal product be aware of the additional side effects. It's a bit scary to think about bleeding from the rectum or rectal pain.

I had a really bad experience with lidocaine. I ended up with some serious numbness and tingling that lasted for hours. It was scary, and I had to call my doctor. I wouldn't recommend using it unless absolutely necessary.

Serious question: how long does it take for the numbness to wear off? I'm nervous about using it for a procedure and then feeling numb for hours.

I've had side effects like dizziness and feeling lightheaded but nothing too severe. Still, it's important to stay hydrated and follow the instructions carefully.
