I've been using Lidocaine 3% Cream for a few weeks now to manage some minor skin issues, and I must say, it's been a lifesaver. However, I've been a bit worried about the potential side effects, especially the urgent ones listed. I've been diligent about applying it as directed and not exceeding the recommended amount, but I can't help but wonder if anyone else has had any concerning experiences with this. The 'Other Possible Side Effects' section is quite long, and I'm curious how common these issues are. Has anyone had to deal with things like skin color changes or irritation at the site of application? If so, were you able to manage these side effects, or did you have to stop using the cream? I'm also interested if anyone has any advice on where to store the cream or how often to apply it to avoid any unwanted reactions. Any experiences or tips would be greatly appreciated!

Don't forget to report any severe side effects to the FDA—it's important for everyone's safety. I think it's great that the FDA provides an online platform for reporting. You can reach them via 1-800-332-1088 or online, which is super convenient.

I had a friend who had a bad reaction to it. Blue lips and skin discoloration. Scared the heck out of both of us. Turns out it was methemoglobinemia. Definitely something to be cautious of. It's a bit concerning how common the side effects can be.

Never had any issues with it but I always make sure to wash my hands after using it. Can't even imagine the trouble if you get some in your mouth or eyes.

i applied too much once and got some tingling sensation which was quite uncomfortable. made sure to read the directions on the package before using it again.

I always apply a thin layer and make sure to cover it with a bandage if I need to apply it to a tender area or one that might touch clothing like your leg. Can't be too careful with this stuff.

I had a bad experience with the cream causing some redness and swelling. I had to stop using it and switched to another topical numbing agent. It's always wise to consult your dermatologist before trying something new, especially if you have sensitive skin. The possible severe reactions listed are scary, but I guess it's good to be aware of everything.

I've used Lidocaine 3% Cream for years to manage my tattoos and piercings without any issues. I never experienced any of the severe side effects, but I did notice some minor irritation initially.

I've read some horror stories online about people experiencing seizures or severe dizziness. I'm not sure how common these are, but it's definitely something to be aware of. I'd rather be safe than sorry and stick to more natural remedies for now.
