I recently started immunotherapy with Yervoy (ipilimumab) 200mg/40ml Inj, 40ml Vial for my cancer treatment. I'm looking for others who have taken this medication to share their experiences, especially concerning side effects. The serious side effects list is quite daunting, and I'm curious if anyone has dealt with them and how. I'd also love to hear about any lesser-known side effects or tips for managing them. Did anyone experience any positive changes or improvements aside from the expected immune response to the cancer? I want to stay positive but I know it can be a tough journey. Let's support each other and share our stories.

My doc warned me about kidney problems, and I had to get my urine checked regularly. It's a pain but it's worth it to catch problems early.

This is a tough one. I went through it last year and my skin was on fire. I had to change my entire diet and avoid any kind of spicy food. Yervoy was a huge struggle but it did help. Be prepared for a rough ride.

Severe swelling is one of the worst things I went through with Yervoy. My legs almost doubled in size. I had to wear compression socks and take diuretics. It was terrifying at first, but my doctor assured me it was a known side effect and something I just had to manage..

I’ve had a lot of shaking and tremors, especially in my hands. It’s not fun, let me tell you. I tried some exercises and a friend suggested some herbal tea that helped a lot.

I was surprised by how much Yervoy affected my mood. I had some serious ups and downs. Talking to a therapist helped a lot.
