I've recently started taking Uceris ER 9mg Tablets for my ulcerative colitis, and I'm curious to hear from others who have tried this medication. It's designed to work mainly in the colon to reduce inflammation, which is great, but I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects. Have any of you experienced serious side effects like changes in blood sugar levels or signs of infection? How did you handle them? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad, to see if this medication is really as effective as my doctor claims.

I’d be cautious with any steroid. The long-term effects are scary. I’d opt for the antibiotics and see how it goes.

I've been on Uceris for a few months now, and it's been a game-changer for me. My flare-ups have significantly decreased, and the side effects have been minimal. I did experience some mild stomach discomfort at first, but it went away after a week. Just make sure to follow your doctor's instructions closely!

This drug has a high potential for abuse. One of my friends ran into a lot of trouble taking this medication. Be careful with this stuff.

I've seen the long list of side effects and it's a bit scary. My doctor told me they are rare, and the benefits should outweigh the downsides. Has anyone else had that experience or they don't recommend it?

Be careful, folks. I had a friend who started taking this and ended up with some serious side effects. It's not worth the risk, in my opinion. There are other options out there.
