I've been on Xolair (omalizumab) for about a year now, and it's been a game-changer for my severe allergic asthma and chronic hives. Before Xolair, I was constantly dealing with bothersome symptoms and frequent trips to the ER. Xolair has significantly reduced the frequency and severity of my allergic reactions, allowing me to live a much more normal life. But I do have questions about the potential side effects—especially the urgent ones. Has anyone else experienced any of the more serious side effects like chest pain, or bone pain listed in the side effects?

I've been on Xolair for a few months and it's been great for my nasal polyp symptoms, but I'm always a bit nervous about the potential for serious side effects. Do any doctors out there have more info on the likelihood of these severe reactions?
I've been on Xolair for a few months now, and it's been a lifesaver for my allergic asthma. I used to have attacks multiple times a week, but now I'm down to maybe one every few weeks. I did have some bone pain for a couple of weeks, but it went away. I'm just glad to finally have some control over my symptoms.
I was hesitant to start Xolair because of the side effects, but my doctor assured me they are rare. So far, so good for me—no serious issues, just some mild injection site reactions.
Xolair has been a miracle for my chronic hives. I've had them since I was a kid, and nothing else worked. The injection site can be a bit sore, but it's worth it. I haven't experienced any of the urgent side effects, but I do get the occasional headache.
I had a scary experience with Xolair. I developed a rash and had trouble breathing a few days after my first injection, but I'm on the mend now. I feel so much better just overall and I am so relieved that the reaction was rare.
I've had it for a while. I have a high dose and I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary. Works for me and my allergies.
