I’m considering the Fasenra Pen 30mg/ml Inj, 1ml for my severe asthma. Like a lot of people, I’ve suffered through countless asthma attacks and medications that haven't worked out. This one seems promising with severe cases, but I’m eager to hear from someone who’s actually used it. How effective was it for you in reducing attacks and improving your breathing? Were there any unexpected side effects or downfalls? How did your doctor guide you through the process? Did you also find it easier to manage your asthma day-to-day? You know, the devil’s in the details, and I want to know all about the nitty-gritty. Also, I’m curious to know if it’s worth the investment. If you have any other advice or recommendations, I’d love to hear it. I’m sure those of you who’ve tried it have valuable insights to share.

For anyone on the fence, talk to your doctor. Seriously. If they recommend it, it’s because they think it’ll help. My pulmonologist was so reassuring and made the process so much easier. I trust my doctor, and they trust Fasenra, so I’m giving it a shot.

What about kids? How do they handle the injection? My son is scared of needles, and I’m worried about how he’ll react.

Fasenra was a game-changer for me. I used to have asthma attacks almost weekly, but since I started using it, they’ve become rare. My breathing has significantly improved, and I can finally enjoy outdoor activities without worrying about an attack. The injection itself is a bit scary at first, but it's quick and the nurse makes it easy. My only side effect so far has been mild headaches, which are manageable. Definitely worth a shot if you’re struggling with severe asthma.

My doctor was really adamant about monitoring symptoms. Every time I go in, they check for eosinophil levels and overall lung function. It’s been nice to have that extra care and attention. Plus, my asthma flare-ups have dropped significantly. This is definitely something to talk to your doctor about if you're suffering.

I can’t believe how much better I’ve been able to breathe. It’s like a weight has been lifted off my chest. I was a bit nervous about the injection at first, but the doctor explained everything clearly, and it was over before I knew it. No side effects for me, just a lot of relief.

I had some dizziness when I first started, but it went away after a couple of weeks. I honestly thought I was going to have to stop using it, but turns out it was just my body adjusting. Keep that in mind if you start feeling off.

I wish I had known about this sooner. It's been a lifesaver for my 8-year-old daughter. Her asthma attacks were so frequent that we had to miss a lot of school and social activities. Since starting Fasenra, she’s been able to stay active and enjoy her childhood without constant worry. I’ve heard some people mention severe side effects, but we’ve been lucky to avoid them. If you’re on the fence, I’d say go for it.

This might be TMI, but I had a really bad rash after my first injection. Doctor said it was an allergic reaction and told me to stop using it. Back to the drawing board. Anyone else have this issue?

Sounds like a great drug but I am always scared of taking injectables. How do you give yourself the shot? Can you explain the process? Where do you inject it?

I was really worried about the cost, but my insurance covered most of it. It’s worth checking with your provider to see if you can get some financial relief. The improvement in my quality of life has been huge, so it’s definitely worth the investment.
