Recently, I was prescribed Lidocaine 3%/Hc 0.5% Cream 85gm for hemorrhoid discomfort. While it's been a lifesaver for pain relief, I've also experienced some burning sensations. Anyone else have this issue? I'm wondering if it's worth mentioning to the doctor. Also, I've read about some serious side effects. How common are these really? Has anyone had any scary experiences with this cream? I'm curious to hear other people's thoughts. Should I be worried, or is this all pretty standard?

I used this when I had hemorrhoids. It helped, but the skin irritation at the site of application was too much to handle. I switched to a different cream and it was much better.

The burning sensation is just part of dealing with hemorrhoids. The cream is great for swelling and pain. I've been using something similar for years, and it's made a world of difference. Just be patient, and it should get better.

I've used this cream for a while and it's been pretty effective for me. I didn't experience any serious side effects, but I did have a slight burning sensation at first. It went away after a few uses. This seems normal.

I think hydrocortisone cream or lidocaine cream alone is better. Why bother mixing them together and causing unnecessary side effects. I'd rather stick with something less complicated.

I had a pretty bad allergic reaction to this creme. I noticed rash, hives, and itching. I'm not sure if it was the Lidocaine or the Hydrocortisone, but I'll definitely be avoiding this one in the future. If you start experiencing any allergic symptoms, get help right away (after discussion with my doctor they tell me this is possible).

Just be careful with the dosage. I made the mistake of applying too much at first and it stung like hell. Make sure to follow the instructions carefully. It really helps with the discomfort, but it's not worth pushing it too hard.
