Hey everyone, I've been struggling with acne for years and recently started using Eryth-Benz Perox Gel 23.3gm. I've heard great things about the combination of erythromycin and benzoyl peroxide, but I'm curious about everyone else's experiences. Does it work well for you? Do you have any tips for using it effectively? I've read the side effects list and it's a bit scary - anyone else find that the gel dries out your skin like crazy? Does it get better over time? I had a terrible reaction to this stuff. I got this rashes everywhere and it felt like my skin was on fire. It took me a week to recover. I would avoid this, or at least consult a dermatologist first. I think for some people, it is simply too strong. It's too bad though, because it worked really well.
I had a pretty good experience overall, but I'll also add that sticking with a routine is key. I noticed the best results when I used it consistently for a few months. If you stop and start, it doesn't work as well. Also, make sure to use a light moisturizer in the morning and at night to avoid dryness. But, I would avoid this if you can get a prescription for something stronger.
Does anyone know if this will work for cystic acne? I've got some pretty bad scars and I don't know what else to try.
I loved Eryth-Benz Perox Gel! It totally cleared up my acne. It did make my skin a bit dry at first, but I just used a good moisturizer and it got better. Also, I made sure to use it consistently and follow the instructions, it worked wonders! No side effects or issues.
