Life-Changing or Just Meh? My Experience with Synthroid 0.025mg (25mcg) Tablets for Hypothyroidism
I've been on Synthroid 0.025mg (25mcg) tablets for a couple of months now, and I must say, it's been a rollercoaster. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism, and my doctor prescribed Synthroid to help regulate my hormone levels. At first, I felt like I was gaining energy and losing that constant feeling of being cold, but I've been dealing some side effects that have me wondering if this is worth it. I've been experiencing hair loss, which is concerning, and I'm not sure if it's temporary as the docs say. I've also been feeling more anxious than usual. I'm curious to hear from others who are on this medication - have you had similar experiences? Are there any tricks to managing the side effects?

Just started Synthroid. Hoping for the best but scared of side effects. Any tips on how to handle them?
I had anxiety too, but my doctor adjusted my dosage and it's much better now. Hang in there!
Synthroid saved my life. I was so miserable before. Now I have energy and I feel like myself again.
Have you tried taking it at night? That helped me sleep better and reduced my anxiety.
I felt like a zombie before Synthroid. Now I can actually function. 25mcg was too much for me though, so my doctor lowered my dose.
