I've been using Clindamycin/Benzoyl Peroxide 1/5% Gel for a few weeks now, and I'm curious to hear from others who have tried it. This gel combines an antibiotic (clindamycin) and benzoyl peroxide to fight acne-causing bacteria and unclog pores. I've noticed some improvement, but I'm dealing with frequent skin dryness, and a couple of flaky spots. Anyone else experiencing this? Are there any tricks to minimize the dryness? I'm also worried about the potential side effects, especially the severe ones. Let's discuss our experiences and any tips we might have for each other. How has this gel worked for you? And most importantly, would you recommend it to others?

I had a terrible reaction to this gel. I got severe burning and itching at the application site. I'm not sure if it was an allergic reaction or what, but I had to stop using it immediately. It's not worth the risk for me.

I was really hoping this would work for me, but unfortunately, I didn't see any improvement. I think I might try a different treatment now. This was a bit disappointing for me

I've been using it for a couple of months now and it's been a game-changer. My acne has cleared up significantly, but I did experience some initial dryness. I started using a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer and that helped a lot. A must-have for me was a sunscreen, and I wish I had used it from the get-go. Also, it's essential to be patient—it can take a few weeks to see noticeable results. So much better than the antibiotics I was on before

I've been using it for a week now and I can see some improvement. I am getting some irritation and redness, but I am hopeful that it will get better

I've had a different experience. I switched to this gel after my doctor recommended it, and I've seen some improvement in my acne. I would have expected a bit more, but I don't have any bad side effects. I think it's important to give it a fair amount of time, but I am not entirely convinced it's worth the money

I've heard that some people experience a purge period where their acne gets worse before it gets better. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how long did it last?

How often are you applying it? I've been using it every other day and my skin seems to be handling it well.

I think it's important to follow the instructions carefully. I've seen some people say they use it more frequently than recommended, which could lead to more side effects. Stick to the plan!
