I recently started taking Glyxambi 25mg/5mg Tablets for my type 2 diabetes. This combination of empagliflozin and linagliptin has been quite effective in lowering my blood sugar, but the side effects have been a bit concerning. I've had some nose and throat irritation, but what really worries me are the potential urgent side effects listed, like allergic reactions, fluid and electrolyte problems, and kidney issues. Has anyone else experienced similar side effects, or should I be more concerned? What precautions should I take?

I've been on Glyxambi for a few months now, and while it's helped with my blood sugar, the nose irritation is a real pain. I've been using a saline spray to help with that. Has anyone else found a good remedy?

I stopped taking Glyxambi because it messed with my kidneys. I had some pretty alarming signs like blood in the urine. Talked to my doctor, and we switched to something else. If you're seeing any symptoms, don't wait it out. Talk to a health professional.

I've had a yeast infection while on these meds, which was miserable but treatable. Just another thing to watch out for. But honestly, the blood sugar control has been worth it for me.

I've heard you can manage some of the minor side effects with lifestyle changes. Like drinking more water to combat the nose irritation. Anyone else had success with this?

The worst side effect for me has been the frequent UTIs. It's like a never-ending cycle of discomfort. I think I'm going to talk to my doctor about switching meds soon if I can't find a solution.
