I've been using Lexette 0.05% Topical Foam for my psoriasis for about a month now. It's been a game-changer in terms of reducing redness, swelling, and itching. However, I'm a bit concerned about the side effects, especially the potential for severe allergic reactions or high blood sugar. Has anyone else had any issues with these side effects? I'm curious to know if anyone has had any long-term issues with this medication. I've also heard that it can cause skin thinning and changes in eyesight. Has anyone experienced any of these issues? Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Has anyone tried any other topical treatments for psoriasis? I'm new to this and want to explore all my options. I get really nervous when I have to use heavy duty stuff like this.

I’ve seen some crazy side effects with topical steroids, so I'm really careful. I avoid my face and anywhere near my eyes. If you do get it in your eyes, flush them out right away and call your doctor. It's horrible to think about, but worth keeping in mind.

It’s terrifying to think about the potential side effects. I’m always worried about putting steroids on my skin. What if I accidentally get it in my mouth or eyes? I have to wear gloves to apply it because I'm so freaked out. But so far, no issues for me, just hope it stays that way.

I had to stop using it because it started to thin my skin and I got pimples. I was using it for weeks and it worked great, but it's not worth it for me. There are other drugs that can help too, so I'm going to ask my doctor about alternatives.

Oh, I've had my share of side effects—ching and stinging mostly. It's annoying, but I tolerate it because Lexette works so well. You get used to it. But use it very sparingly. It works best when applied in small amounts and only on affected areas.

If anyone is looking for a natural alternative, I recommend trying aloe vera gel and turmeric. They're great anti-inflammatories and they soothe the skin! Just be sure you're not allergic first.
