I was prescribed Tiazac 240mg for high blood pressure and angina a few months ago. At first, I was nervous about the side effects, especially the severe ones listed in the pamphlet. I've had some minor issues like headaches, but nothing too bad. However, I'm wondering if anyone else has had more severe reactions or if anyone has stopped taking it due to side effects. I've noticed that the extended-release format makes it easier to stick to the medication schedule, but I'm curious about other people's experiences.

I had a bad reaction to Tiazac. Within a week of starting it, I developed a severe rash and swelling in my face. I had to go to the ER and was told to stop taking it immediately. Scary stuff!

Tiazac has been a lifesaver for my blood pressure. I can't imagine having to take multiple doses a day. I've only had minor side effects, mostly just feeling a bit tired, but it's definitely worth it for the control it gives me.

I've been on Tiazac for years and haven't had any major issues. The extended-release capsules are a lifesaver for me—I don't have to worry about taking meds multiple times a day.

I switched to Tiazac from another calcium channel blocker and it made a world of difference. My blood pressure is under control and I haven't had any chest pain since. Just make sure to take it at the same time every day for best results.

I think it's important to note that while Tiazac can have severe side effects, most people tolerate it well. I had some dizziness at first, but it went away after a few weeks. Always talk to your doctor if you're worried about side effects.

I’ve heard a lot about the severe skin reactions, but I’ve never heard of anyone personally experiencing them. Fingers crossed I don’t get any autoimmune reactions.

Did anyone else experience dizziness as a side effect? I feel wobbly every now and then so I'm curious if it's just me.

Tiazac has been a game-changer for me. I had been experiencing heart palpitations and angina attacks daily, but ever since I started taking it, those symptoms have diminished significantly.

Just over a month ago, I had a weird, slow heartbeat. I thought it was my medication but my doctor ran some tests. The tests came back showing nothing abnormal, so I continued using Tiazac.

Anyone else tried this but then switched back to something else? I tried it for a couple of weeks but it just didn’t feel right. I ended up going back to my old medication.
