Life-changing or life-threatening? My experience with Trihexyphenidyl 5mg and their side effects.
I've been prescribed Trihexyphenidyl 5mg Tablets to help with muscle stiffness and tremors, and I'm not sure what to make of the side effects list. I'm especially concerned about the serious side effects. Has anyone else experienced any issues? If you have personal experience with this medication, I would love to hear about it.

I've heard horror stories about the neuroleptic malignant syndrome (NMS). I've seen it first-hand in a loved one who was on a similar medication. Scary stuff. Please be careful and pay attention to those symptoms.
I had hallucinations on this med. I thought someone was in my room at night. Freaked me out. I had to switch to something else.
I think the doc should've warned me about the constipation. I mean, it's not like it's a minor issue. I was miserable for weeks.
I've been on Trihexyphenidyl for a few months and haven't experienced any serious side effects. Just some dizziness here and there. I hope it stays that way.
