I've been prescribed Tenormin 50mg Tablets for high blood pressure and chest pain, and I'm curious about other people's experiences. Atenolol is a beta-blocker that slows your heart rate and helps lower blood pressure. I've heard about some side effects that sound pretty scary, like severe dizziness, depression, and even slow heartbeat. I'm hoping to hear from others who've taken this medication. Has anyone had any serious side effects, or is it generally well-tolerated? Also, how long did it take for the medication to start working for you? I'm interested in any tips or advice for managing side effects or any other insights you might have. Thanks!

How long did it take for the Tenormin to start working for you?

I've been on Tenormin for about a year now, and it's been a game-changer for my high blood pressure. I didn't experience any serious side effects, just a bit of dizziness at first, but that went away after a few weeks. Make sure to take it at the same time every day for consistent results.

I've heard that Tenormin can cause depression. I'm a bit worried about that. Has anyone else experienced this?

I had a really bad reaction to Tenormin. I started feeling cold all the time, and I had severe dizziness that made it hard to walk. My doctor switched me to a different beta-blocker, and I've been doing much better since then. If you experience any of the urgent side effects, don't mess around—get medical help right away.
