I've been using Pilocarpine 2% eye drops for a couple of weeks now to manage my glaucoma, and I'm curious if anyone else has experience with this medication. The eyedrops do help lower the pressure inside my eye, and my pupils have constricted more. However, it's been challenging to get used to the frequent application—the bottle seems to be running out quickly! I'm interested in hearing others' experiences, particularly in dealing with the side effects. Has anyone encountered severe issues, or is it generally well-tolerated? I've had some temporary blurry vision and eye redness, but nothing major. I've also wondered if anyone has found alternative methods to manage glaucoma effectively. Please share your insights and tips!

I've been using it for a month and it’s been great, but my biggest issue is remembering to apply it so often. Maybe a reminder on my phone would help.

Pilocarpine has been a lifesaver for me. I've had glaucoma for years, and this is the first medication that has really made a difference. Just be patient with it—it takes a bit of time to get used to.

I had a bad reaction to Pilocarpine. My eyes were incredibly irritated and I had persistent blurry vision. My doctor switched me to a different medication, and it's been much better since then. She told me to report my side effects to the FDA. It's important to do so if you have a bad reaction.

I'm a bit worried about the severe side effects mentioned. Has anyone experienced anything like retinal tear or detachment? That sounds terrifying.

I switched to Pilocarpine from another medication and the difference is night and day. No more eye pain and my vision is much clearer. Just make sure to follow your doctor's instructions closely. And don't forget to report any side effects to the FDA.

I had to stop using it because of severe headaches. It was not worth the pain for me. But you may want to ask your doctor about alternatives or different dosages. My doctor did not really consider other dosage options with me.

I switched to Pilocarpine after my doctor told me about the benefits. It's been a game-changer for my glaucoma management. No more headaches, and my eye pressure is finally under control. Plus my pupil constriction is fantastic.

I've been using Pilocarpine for a while now, and while the side effects can be annoying, they're manageable for me. I've had some headaches and eye irritation, but nothing that's made me want to stop using them. The key is to stick to your prescribed schedule and make sure you're applying them correctly. Also, always keep your eye drops in a cool, dry place. Heat can affect the potency of the medicine.

I've found that using artificial tears between doses helps with the irritation. It's a bit of a hassle, but it makes a big difference.

I've heard that Pilocarpine can cause your pupils to constrict so much that it affects your vision in low light. Has anyone else experienced this? It's not in the side effects I saw.
