Zinc Oxide 20% Ointment has been a staple in many households for treating diaper rash and minor skin irritations. I've used it on my baby and it has really helped with chafing from sweaty gym clothes as well. Does anyone else have a different experience with this? I'd love to read about it.

Some people experience side effects, but I never have. I remember when my son was little I took him to the doctor for a bad rash, and the doctor mentioned that it was such a rare problem that they didn't even consider side effects when it came to this ointment. Now my son has a weird rash and I still trust the doctor's recommendation to go with zinc oxide ointment.

Does anyone else have a baby who hates the texture of this stuff? Mine freaks out every time I put it on. It's worth it for the relief, though. I'm going to keep using it in hopes she gets used to it.

I've been using this for years and it's a lifesaver. Works great for diaper rash, but also for chafing during long runs. Just make sure to apply it after a shower or bath to get the best results. I usually apply a thicker layer before bed to help lock in the moisture and heal the irritated skin quicker. I've tried a few other creams, but this one is definitely my go-to.

I tried zinc Oxide cream last week. It was a nice relief from the constant burning and itching. Works great, but it's a bit too thick for my tastes. But I'm still glad I found it.

I was a skeptic of this ointment. I tried it, and I was blown away with the results. I thought it was going to be another useless gimmick, but I was wrong. I could see the results in a day, but make sure you are using a good brand. I ended up buying a generic version and it was a waste. Definitely go with the name brand.

I only use this when my sunburns get severe. It keeps moisture away and the pain is gone pretty quickly. I've got a tube in my first aid kit and it's come in handy.
