Life changing! Steqeyma 90mg/ml Pf Syr, 1ml treating Crohn's disease - my experience and side effects
Getting this medicine to help treat my Crohn's disease has been a life changing event for me. I have been on Steqeyma 90mg/ml Pf Syr, 1ml for about 4 months now and the results have been amazing. The inflammation in my body has reduced a great deal and I am able to do the things I love again. This medication has been a game-changer for me. However, I have had some side effects which have forced me to be cautious. I wanted to start a discussion for those of you who are on this drug or plan to use it in the near future, to share some of my experience. I have experienced muscle aches, dizziness, and fatigue. The injection site irritation has also been a little pesky. I have been informed by a doctor that these side effects are common and will likely go away over time. I am going to be honest, some of the side effects are really scary. I have heard some people have experienced a loss of vision, seizures, and even fever. I have learned now to always be on the lookout for any signs of infection. I have tried to keep as healthy as possible throughout my time on this drug. I have been trying to stay away from activities that could potentially expose me to germs. I have tried to keep my weight up and stay hydrated. I have heard some people say that this drug is only for really severe cases that have not responded to other treatments. I wanted to reach out to these people because I have found it to be really helpful and I think it could help you too. If you are considering this drug, I would highly recommend it. I think it is important to monitor yourself closely, stay on top of your health, and keep in touch with your doctor, but overall the benefits are very worth it.

I'm surprised to see so many positive comments about Steqeyma especially since others have had some scary experiences.
When I started taking Steqeyma, I was told that muscle aches and fatigue were common side effects. I've had both, but I've also seen a huge improvement in my Crohn's symptoms. I think it's worth it, but I would highly recommend getting a doctor who knows about this medication and can help you manage any side effects. I am confident in my doctor's knowledge. He has been a blessing lately. I also think it's important to keep in mind that these drugs are serious, they can really mess with your system if you don't take care of yourself while on them. I've had a few friends skip doses and they ended up paying the price. If you're going to take a drug like Steqeyma, you have to be smart about it.
I've been on Steqeyma for about 6 months, and I have to say, it's been a rollercoaster. I've had some pretty severe side effects, but my doctor has been great about helping me manage them. I've had some really bad muscle aches and fatigue, but I've also seen a huge improvement in my Crohn's symptoms. I think it's worth it, but I would highly recommend getting a doctor who knows about this medication. I was lucky enough to see someone in a major hospital for my treatment. I was able to get the best care and was constantly monitored for side effects. I would also recommend keeping a food journal while on the medication. If you do get side effects, it can help to know which foods were causing them.
I've had some really bad side effects from Steqeyma, but I've also seen a huge improvement in my symptoms. I think it's worth it, but I would highly recommend getting a doctor who knows about this medication and can help you manage any side effects. I would do some research and consider speaking with people who have used Steqeyma in the past for their Crohn's disease.
I've been on Steqeyma for a year now, and while it's not perfect, it's made a huge difference in my psoriasis. The side effects are manageable, and my doctor has been great about monitoring me. Just keep an eye on that injection site, it can get irritated.
I experienced an allergic reaction where my skin peeled off. I honestly don't know if I would recommend it. I was hospitalized, and my doctor had to give me an allergy shot. Scary stuff
Has anyone experienced any long-term effects from taking Steqeyma? I've been on it for a few years now, and I'm starting to worry about the long-term impacts.
I've heard of some people who had major reactions to this drug and had to go to the hospital. Does anyone know if there are specific tests you can do to see if you are at a high risk of having a reaction?
I've been on Steqeyma for about 4 months, and I have to say, it's been life-changing. I've had some side effects, but they've been manageable, and my doctor has been great about monitoring me. I've seen a huge improvement in my Crohn's symptoms, and I'm finally able to live my life again. My main advice? Keep your system clean and stay hydrated. I've found this to be a staple in managing my symptoms and I believe it has helped me get the most out of this drug.
I think this thread is really great, my father had Crohn's disease in his younger days and lived 84 years! I don't believe that Steqeyma was on the market then... but the price of this new drug is certainly raising the price of patients insurance premiums. This is a good point, it's also important to keep in mind that while these drugs can be life-changing, they come at a cost. I know a lot of people who have had to struggle with insurance companies just to get this covered. Always worth it to fight for the best treatment.
