Has anyone here tried Sympazan 20mg Oral Soluble Film for Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome? I've been considering it for my child, but I'm a bit hesitant due to the possible side effects. How effective has it been for others, and what have been your experiences with the side effects? Specifically, I'd love to hear about any severe reactions or long-term impacts. Additionally, I'm curious about how the film dissolves and how easy it is to administer. Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Be very careful with the suicidal thoughts side effect. It's scary, but it's real. If anyone experiences that, seek help immediately. It's not worth the risk if you're not super monitored. Ok, scary stuff out of the way.

Do we know what the long-term effects of this drug are? I'm not sure if it's something I want my child on indefinitely.

I've heard mixed reviews. Some people love it, others not so much.

I had to stop taking it because of the side effects. I've found other meds work better for me.

My doc recommended it because it’s supposed to work fast on seizures. It’s weird how it dissolves so quickly. I didn’t know that was a thing before. But it’s not magic though. Still have to be careful.

I found the drops to be pretty convenient. It’s just a matter of getting used to the film. No big deal. The real question is, does it work? I think it does, but everyone’s different.

I had some really bad side effects, dizziness and fatigue were the worst. My doctor switched me to something else, but some people swear by it. It's a tough one to navigate. But if it works, it's worth it. Just have to weigh the benefits against the negative stuff.

My kid has been on it for a year, and it's made a huge difference. No more seizures! It’s crazy how much it’s helped. The only downside is the drowsiness, but it’s a small price to pay.

I've been on Sympazan for a few months now, and it's been a game-changer. My seizures have decreased significantly, and the film is super easy to use. Just place it on the tongue, and it dissolves quickly. No complaints so far, touch wood.
