Life-Saving or Life-Threatening? My Experience with Advair Diskus 100/50mcg (green) 60s
Advair Diskus 100/50mcg has been a staple in my asthma management routine for years. The combination of fluticasone and salmeterol has significantly improved my breathing and reduced the frequency of asthma attacks. However, the list of potential side effects is daunting. Has anyone else experienced any of the urgent side effects mentioned? I've only had occasional throat irritation, but I'm always on the lookout for more severe reactions. How do you guys handle the anxiety that comes with knowing the possible risks?

This is a good reminder to check in with your doctor if you have any concerns. We're all different, and so are our reactions to meds.
I switched to Advair after my doctor said it would help manage my asthma better. It's been great, but I worry about the potential side effects. Fingers crossed I never experience them!
I've noticed the common cold symptoms seem to have increased since taking Advair. Is this normal or should I be concerned?
I've been on Advair for a few weeks and I've had the most terrible mouth irritation. I've been using a spacer to try and minimize it, but it's still really uncomfortable.
I've been lucky with Advair. No major side effects, but I do get a bit of a sore throat sometimes. Definitely worth it for the relief it provides though.
I use Advair and it's been amazing for my asthma. But I'm constantly nervous about the high blood sugar symptoms. Anyone else feel this way?
