Recently, I underwent an angioplasty, and my doctor administered Bivalirudin 250mg Inj, 1 Vial to prevent blood clots. I've noticed some mild side effects and I want to know if anyone else has had experience with the same medication. Are the benefits worth the risk of these side effects?

I've seen some scary allergic reactions to this drug, but it's rare. I would stick to it if recommended by a doctor. Just be vigilant about the symptoms and contact your doctor immediately if you notice anything.

I'm scared to even think about this medication... I'm sure I'm overreacting!

I think the benefits are worth the risk if you have a condition where your blood is prone to clotting. My grandmother had a great experience with it.

I've had to deal with black, red, or tarry stools during my treatment. It was a frightening experience, but my doctor said it was a common side effect. Anyone else?

This drug saved my life! I had a condition where my blood kept clotting. The doctor recommended Bivalirudin 250mg Inj, 1 Vial and I never had a problem after that.

I've had a similar experience with Bivalirudin. The side effects were minimal for me and it helped my blood flow during the procedure. I think it's definitely worth the risk given the situation.

I had a severe headache and some dizziness. Took me till my next appointment to realize what was happening.

It's always wise to consult your doctor if you have any concerns about side effects. The FDA website is a good place to start if you want more information.

Bivaliridin can be scary, it's true. Be vigilant about the serious side effects and if you notice any of the neurological symptoms, act immediately.

It's a necessary evil sometimes. The doctor knows what they're doing. Just follow their instructions and be observant. Good luck!
