I've been taking Aspirin 81mg EC Low Dose Tablets for about a year now, as recommended by my doctor to reduce the risk of heart attacks and strokes. The enteric coating has indeed helped with stomach issues, but I've had some concerns about potential side effects. While the benefits seem to outweigh the risks for me, I've had friends who've had to stop taking it due to issues like stomach pain and ringing in the ears. I've also heard that it can mess with your kidneys and liver, which is a bit scary. Has anyone else had similar issues? Is it worth sticking with, or should I talk to my doctor about switching to a different medication?

I had to stop taking it because it caused me so many problems. I think if you are experiencing side effects, it's definitely worth talking to your doctor about. I switched to a different medication and I'm much better off.

I think the biggest risk is the fact that it can cause bleeding problems. I had a friend who started bleeding uncontrollably after a minor cut. It was scary. I wouldn't take it if you have any bleeding disorders or are on other blood-thinning medications.

Aspirin can be a lifesaver, but it's not for everyone. A lot of people don't realize it can cause kidney and liver problems. If you have any underlying issues, it's important to monitor your kidney and liver function regularly.

I've been on baby aspirin for years and haven't had any issues. I have heard that it can cause stomach problems, so I always take it with a meal. Overall, I think the benefits outweigh the risks for most people.

So, which would be better - staying on the Aspirin or switching to something else? Also, would taking it with food really help with the side effects?

I take it daily and haven't had any issues. I think it's worth the risk for the peace of mind it gives me.
