I had to stop taking it because it caused me so many problems. I think if you are experiencing side effects, it's definitely worth talking to your doctor about. I switched to a different medication and I'm much better off.
I think the biggest risk is the fact that it can cause bleeding problems. I had a friend who started bleeding uncontrollably after a minor cut. It was scary. I wouldn't take it if you have any bleeding disorders or are on other blood-thinning medications.
Aspirin can be a lifesaver, but it's not for everyone. A lot of people don't realize it can cause kidney and liver problems. If you have any underlying issues, it's important to monitor your kidney and liver function regularly.
I've been on baby aspirin for years and haven't had any issues. I have heard that it can cause stomach problems, so I always take it with a meal. Overall, I think the benefits outweigh the risks for most people.
