Creon 24,000unit Capsules have been a game-changer for many of us dealing with exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI). These capsules contain natural enzymes that help our bodies digest food properly, absorbing the nutrients we need. However, like any medication, Creon comes with its own set of side effects. I've been on Creon for a few years now, and while it's managed my EPI effectively, I've experienced some side effects that I wish I'd known more about beforehand. I'm curious to hear from others who use Creon—what side effects have you experienced, and how have you coped with them? Also, for those new to Creon, what advice would you give based on your experiences?

Creon has been a lifesaver for me, but I did have a bad reaction once—ended up with hives and swelling. Scared the hell out of me. The ER doc said it was an allergic reaction. I'm on a different enzyme now.

I've found that staying hydrated and eating smaller, more frequent meals helps with the digestion issues. Also, avoiding high-fat foods has made a big difference.

I've been lucky and haven't had any major side effects. Just the occasional headache, which is manageable. Fingers crossed it stays that way!

I wish more people talked about the psychological impact of managing EPI. It's not just the side effects—it's the constant monitoring and adjusting. But Creon definitely helps with the physical symptoms.
