I've been using Dorzolamide-Timolol Ophthalmic Solution for a few months now to manage my glaucoma. It's been a game-changer in lowering my eye pressure, but I've had to navigate some side effects. The drops are easy to use, and my doctor assured me that the benefits outweigh the risks, but I'm curious if others have had similar experiences. Has anyone else dealt with eye burning or excessive tearing, and how did you manage it? Also, I've seen some scary side effects listed for this medication—has anyone encountered any of the more severe issues, like allergic reactions or changes in heartbeat? I want to be prepared but also not too alarmed.

The taste changes are the worst for me. I feel like I can taste metal constantly, which is super annoying. But otherwise, I haven't had any other side effects. My doctor says it's not uncommon.

Has anyone else noticed that their vision is a bit blurry after using the drops? It's not too bad, but it's noticeable. I've had to be extra careful when driving at night.

What about the heart failure symptoms? I'm pretty healthy otherwise but that's enough to scare anyone.

I'm lucky—I haven't had any side effects at all. I've been on them for about six months now and they've been a miracle for my eye pressure. My doctor says my eyes are looking great, and I'm hoping to continue using them for a long time.

I had a laugh when I first started using these drops. My friend thought I had turned into a vampire because my eyes were constantly watering. But yes, the excessive tearing is annoying. But I'd rather deal with that than risk losing my sight.
