I've been taking Olmesartan/Amlodipine/Hydrochlorothiazide 20/5/12.5mg for a few months now, and while it's been effective in managing my blood pressure, I've had some side effects that I wasn't expecting. I've read about the common side effects like dizziness and headaches, but the information on the skin cancer risk was a bit alarming. I've always been diligent about wearing sunscreen, but now I'm even more conscious of protecting my skin. Has anyone else had to deal with the skin cancer risk? Some people have shared headaches but I seem to be more prone to fainting spells. I'm curious if anyone else has experienced anything similar. I've also noticed water retention in my arms and legs recently. Pretty sure it's just a side effect. How long does it take to go away? I've been trying to reduce my salt intake and drink more water, but it's been stubborn. Any tips? I'd love to hear from others who are taking this medication or have in the past, I appreciate any advice!

I've heard that some people experience muscle cramps, but I've been lucky so far. I do get headaches every once in a while, but they're manageable with OTC pain relievers. I've also noticed that my blood pressure is much better controlled since I started taking this medication. Gotta say it sucks having to take a pill every day but it's worth it.

My husband has been on this medication and he's had no side effects. None. My son, on the other hand, has had some really bad side effects. How strange that family members can have such different reactions. I think I actually read an article about this but can't remember where.

This medication has been a game-changer for me. I've had no side effects other than some mild dizziness at first, but that went away. I've also noticed that my blood pressure is much better controlled since I started taking this medication. I can finally sleep through the night without waking up gasping for breath. A friend of mine takes this medication. He gets dizzy but that's about it, it's much better than having a heart attack.

I've been on this med for a year, and the only side effect I've had is some mild dizziness at first. I noticed a few times that I had a was, bloated, but nothing too serious.

The skin cancer risk is definitely something to be aware of. I had a mole checked out recently just to be safe. It turned out to be nothing, but it's better to be cautious. I've also noticed some weight gain, which I'm trying to manage with diet and exercise.

I've been on this medication for a few months. The first few weeks were rough with dizziness and headaches but it has since abated. I've also noticed that my eyes are a bit dry. I've started using eyedrops and it helped a lot. The water retention also happened to me but it went away after a few weeks. Be patient. My doctor said to up my water intake a bit and it seemed to help.
