I've been prescribed Subsys 100mcg Spray (blue Box) 10s for breakthrough cancer pain. It's been a game-changer in managing those sudden, severe pain episodes, but I'm a bit worried about the side effects. Has anyone else used this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. How quickly did it work for you? Did you encounter any serious side effects? And how do you handle the common ones like dizziness or constipation? Any tips for using it effectively would be greatly appreciated!

Has anyone experienced any allergic reactions? That's what scares me the most. I've had bad reactions to medications in the past, so I'm a bit nervous about trying something so strong.

This thread is so informative! I had no idea Subsys could cause such serious issues. I'm definitely going to keep an eye out for any of these symptoms.

I've been on Subsys for a few months now, and it's been a lifesaver for my breakthrough pain. It works super fast, usually within a couple of minutes. But yeah, the constipation is no joke. I had to start taking stool softeners regularly. Also, my doctor warned me about serotonin syndrome, so I make sure to avoid any medications that could interact with it.

I switched to Subsys from another breakthrough pain medication, and it works way better for severe pain. The dizziness was a bit of a problem at first, but my doctor suggested I lie down and rest for a bit after use. That helped a lot.

I just started using Subsys, and I've been feeling really cold. Is that a common side effect? It's not exactly comfortable, but I'm hoping it goes away with time.
