I had a bad reaction to Vemlidy. I had severe skin reactions, hives, itching, etc. I switched to something else and I'm doing okay now. It doesn't work for everyone, so don't be afraid to talk to your doctor if you're having a hard time.

I've been on Vemlidy for about a year now, and while it's been a lifesaver for my liver, I've had some pretty nasty side effects. The worst was definitely the lactic acidosis. I woke up one night with rapid breathing, dizziness, and muscle cramps. I thought I was having a heart attack! Turns out it was the lactic acidosis, and I had to spend a night in the hospital.
