I was recently prescribed Lioresal Intrathecal 10mg/5ml to manage my spasticity caused by MS. The doctor explained that delivering the medication directly to the spinal cord via a pump would be more effective and have fewer side effects than oral administration. I'm curious to hear from others who have had similar experiences. What has been your journey like with this treatment? What were the most challenging parts? Did you experience any side effects? How did they compare to those listed in the medication guide?

The pump has been a mixed bag for me. The muscle stiffness has improved dramatically, but I've had some issues with trouble controlling my body movements. It's a bit annoying, but I'd say overall, it's worth it.

My doctor mentioned that the side effects listed are really rare and that I should only worry if they become severe. I don't have a clue what to expect. But apparently my doctor does.

This medication changed my life. I'm more mobile and have fewer muscle spasms than I ever thought possible. The side effects were minimal, and the benefit was worth it.

I've been on this for a while and honestly, the side effects are a lot better than the oral version. I felt like a zombie on the pills, but the pump has made a huge difference. I've had to deal with the occasional headache, but it's a fair trade-off.
