I was recently prescribed Lisdexamfetamine 20mg Capsules for my ADHD, and I've been taking it for about a month now. Initially, I was hesitant because of the potential side effects, but my doctor assured me that it's generally well-tolerated. So far, I've experienced a noticeable improvement in my focus and attention. However, I've also had some side effects like a decreased appetite and occasional difficulty sleeping. I'm curious to hear from others who have taken this medication. How have your experiences been? What side effects did you encounter, and how did you manage them? I've also been reading about the more serious side effects, such as serotonin syndrome, which is quite worrying. Has anyone had to deal with anything like that?

I was really worried about the heart-related warnings, especially since I have a family history of heart issues. After talking to my doctor, I realized that Lisdexamfetamine had a lower risk of causing heart problems than some other ADHD meds. As long as I stay in constant communication with my healthcare provider, I feel more comfortable taking it.

Did any of you experience that weird humming or yelling thing? That was super uncomfortable and thankfully went away after a few weeks.

I've heard mixed reviews about Lisdexamfetamine. Some people love it, others hate it. I guess it really depends on how your body responds to it. If anyone has specific questions or concerns, I'd be happy to share my experience.

Don’t forget to watch for signs of high blood pressure. My friend once had really bad headaches and dizziness, which turned out to be a side effect. Really freaked him out. At least I was prepared when I started seeing some of these symptoms.

The side effects were rough at first, but they eventually lessened. I mean, experiencing a bit of anxiety was really bad, but it was manageable. I started with a lower dose and gradually increased it, which really helped. It's worth talking to your doctor about dosage if you're struggling.

I'm glad you found something that works. I've been on a rollercoaster with different meds, trying to find the right balance. I just hope I don’t have to deal with any serious side effects.

I'm glad to hear that it's been helpful for some of you, but I had a really bad experience with it. I developed severe anxiety and had trouble sleeping, which made it impossible to stay on the medication. I wish my doctor had warned me about the potential for anxiety as a severe side effect.
