I've been prescribed Lisdexamfetamine 30mg Capsules for my ADHD, and I've been on it for a couple of months now. Overall, I've noticed a significant improvement in my focus and productivity, but I've also experienced some side effects that have me a bit concerned. I've had some trouble sleeping and feeling jittery, but those are manageable. However, I've also noticed some changes in my skin color on my hands and feet, which has me a little worried. I've read that this could be a sign of a more serious issue, but I'm not sure if it's just a minor side effect or something I should be more concerned about. Has anyone else experienced this? Also, I've been a bit curious about the fact that it's a prodrug and how that affects its potency throughout the day. Any insights would be greatly appreciated. I'm just trying to understand more about this medication and how it works in my body.

I'm surprised more people aren't talking about the muscle pain. I've had it badly and it's affected my everyday life. I'm not sure what to do about it. Anyone else dealt with this?

I've been on Lisdexamfetamine for a while now and I can definitely say that the prodrug aspect makes a big difference. It converts slowly in your body which means you don't get the sudden spikes and crashes like you might with other ADHD medications. It's been a game-changer for me in terms of managing my symptoms throughout the day. But I have experienced some nasty side effects, including muscle pain and weakness and I'm not sure if it's related to the medication. I've been getting some muscle cramps in my leg that are excruciating.

I've never heard of this med. How much does it cost?

I was really surprised by how well it worked for my BED. I've struggled with binge eating for years, and this has been a lifesaver. I've lost weight and feel so much more in control. Just be careful with the side effects, especially the serious ones. The changes in skin color sound worrying, maybe worth calling your doctor about that.
