I've been prescribed Lisdexamfetamine 30mg chewable tablets for my ADHD, and I've had a mix of positive and challenging experiences. The drug has definitely helped with my focus and impulse control, but I've also dealt with some side effects. I'm hoping to share my journey and get some tips from others who are taking the same medication. I want to know: How do you manage the side effects, and what are your tips for taking this drug more comfortably? For example, I used to get a dry mouth, but I've found chewing sugarless gum helps a lot.

Lisdexamfetamine is the game changer. I've never had an issue with side effects whatsoever. I know everyone is different, but for me, this has been a huge help. Taking any ADHD meds are better than being unable to function.

I've been on Lisdexamfetamine for a year now, and it's been a game-changer for my ADHD. The chewable tabs are so convenient because they're easy to take on the go. Even so, I had a pretty rough time with insomnia at first, but my doctor recommended taking it in the morning, and that helped a lot. Has anyone else tried adjusting the time of day they take it? What was your experience like?

I really hope this helps me. I've been on a roller coaster with my ADHD meds, and I'm hoping this one sticks. I've noticed that I'm way less anxious, a side effect I've had with other meds. I've never felt so well on meds before.

Chemical drugs can be a double edged sword. I’ve seen them help a lot, but I’ve never understood why it’s so hard to find a balance. My stomach issues were worth it for the help with my ADHD.

I noticed the chewable tabs don't taste too bad. It's more like a sweet and somewhat grainy texture. It's not as bad as other meds I've taken, but the issue for me is that it can be hard to remember to take it. I'm not sure if it's a placebo effect or what, but I've found that keeping my pills in my pocket helps me remember. My doctor said it was important for me to take it every day at the same time and I can’t afford to miss a day. I’ve got to keep my ADHD meds on track.

I started taking Lisdexamfetamine and it's helped me a lot with my ADHD symptoms. But the weight loss has been a bit of an issue. I've lost about 10 pounds since I started taking it, and while that might sound good, I'm already at a healthy weight and I'm worried about losing more. I've started eating more and trying to add more calorie-dense food to my diet, but I just don't have much of an appetite. Have any of you had similar issues? Or do you have any recommendations for managing this side effect?

I feel like the side effects are manageable. I get some dizziness, but it's not too bad. I'm just worried about the long-term effects. Does anyone know if there are any studies on the long-term impact of this medication?

I'm glad to see so many positive experiences. I just started Lisdexamfetamine and I'm hopeful it will help me with my BED. I'm also keeping an eye on my blood pressure since I've heard it can be an issue. Who else has had to monitor this and what tips do you have for managing it?

I switched from Adderall to Lisdexamfetamine and the chewable tabs are a breeze. No more pills to swallow whole. For those struggling with side effects, will you be seeing a dietitian? Food can play a big role in how we feel on meds, and a dietitian can help balance it out.

I've been on Lisdexamfetamine for a couple of months now, and it's been amazing for my focus. My doctor warned me about the potential side effects, and I've been lucky to avoid most of them. The only one I've really struggled with is the feeling jittery. Anyone else get this? How do you deal with it?
