I've been taking Lisdexamfetamine 40mg capsules for about six months now to manage my ADHD. The medication has been a game-changer for me in terms of focus and attention, but I've also experienced some side effects. Initially, I had some trouble sleeping and felt jittery a lot of the time. I've also noticed some weight loss, which can be both good and bad depending on how you look at it. I'm curious to hear from others who are taking this medication. What side effects have you experienced? How have they affected your daily life? What do you do to mitigate those side effects?

I started on a lower dose and worked my way up. The side effects were definitely manageable when I started. It can really help, especially when you adjust the dosage with a doctor.

I've had dry mouth and trouble sleeping, but nothing too bad. It's definitely helped with my focus, and I'm glad I switched to this from my previous medication.

I've been on Lisdexamfetamine for a year now, and the weight loss has been a big concern for me. I've had to eat more frequently and healthily to maintain my weight. My doctor said it should even out after a while, but so far, it hasn't.

I recently started Lisdexamfetamine to treat my binge eating disorder. It's been helpful, but I've noticed I have less of an appetite. I have to remind myself to eat because if I don't, I feel really weak and lightheaded.

I had a really bad experience with it. My heart rate went crazy, and I ended up in the ER. Scary stuff!

I'm really glad I found this thread. I've been feeling so alone in my experiences with this medication. It's nice to know I'm not the only one dealing with the side effects.

I'm surprised more people don't talk about the difficulty controlling sounds. I've had to leave rooms because I couldn't stop humming. Really strange side effect,

I had no idea this medication could cause serotonin syndrome, that's a big worry for me. I'm going to have to monitor my other medications carefully.

I was really worried about the side effects, but I've found that taking the medication with food helps a lot. My doctor recommended eating a protein-rich snack with it, and it's made a big difference.

Have any of you found that the medication helps with impulsive spending? I've noticed I'm not as tempted by online shopping late at night, which is great!
