I recently started taking Lisdexamfetamine 50mg capsules for my ADHD, and while it's been helping with focus, I've been a bit worried about the side effects. The medication info sheet has a long list of possible issues, from allergic reactions to serotonin syndrome. Has anyone else had experiences with these side effects? What should I look out for? I've been feeling a bit jittery and having some trouble sleeping, but I'm not sure if that's normal or something to be concerned about. Any advice or stories from others who have been on this medication would be greatly appreciated! Especially about how to manage those feelings when they get intense.

For those struggling with the nausea, try eating small, frequent meals throughout the day. It helped me a lot, and I didn't have to worry about feeling sick after taking the medication.

I've heard some horror stories about serotonin syndrome, but I think it's important to remember that it's rare and usually only happens if you're taking other medications that affect serotonin levels. Always talk to your doctor before starting any new meds.

Has anyone else dealt with the weird skin discoloration? I got these weird red spots on my hands and feet, and it was pretty freaky. Turns out it was a side effect, but it took me a while to figure it out.

I had to switch to a different medication because the side effects were just too much. It's okay if you have to do the same. Your health comes first, and there are other options out there.

I've been on this for a month, it helped my ADHD symptoms but the only thing that really bugs me is the loss of appetite. I have to force myself to eat, and I've lost weight, which isn't great. Has anyone else had this issue? Any tips on managing it?
