I've been prescribed Lisdexamfetamine 60mg capsules for my ADHD and was surprised by some of the side effects listed. Has anyone else had any issues with the medication, or does it work well for you? What should I expect in terms of side effects and how can I better understand the risks?

I've heard that some people experience severe side effects like skin discoloration and muscle weakness. Anyone else had anything like this?

I was afraid of that exercise thing, but then I found out that those issues are more common with people doing strenuous exercise at altitude or who have Raynaud's phenomenon.

It's important to remember that everyone's experience with medication can be different. What works for one person might not work for another. Always consult with your doctor and be honest about any side effects you experience. You may not experience any of these things at all.

I had a friend who ended up in the ER because of an allergic reaction to this med. It was scary. Not worth the risk. But she did get some good results from it.

I've been on Lisdexamfetamine for a few months now and it's been a game-changer for my focus. I did experience some mild side effects like loss of appetite and trouble sleeping, but my doctor helped me manage them with some lifestyle changes.

I've been on Vyvanse for a while now, and I can definitely see how it helps. However I tend to get a lot of side effects which are very similar to what is mentioned here. I found that taking it with food and drinking plenty of water helps to mitigate some of the side effects. I'm going to ask my doctor about lowering the dose. I've also heard that taking it in the morning can help with sleep issues, has anyone else tried this?
