I've been on Lisdexamfetamine for a few years now, and it's drastically improved my focus and productivity. I do experience some side effects like decreased appetite and occasional trouble sleeping, but it's worth it for me. I have to be careful I don't take it too close to bedtime, or I'm up all night. Also, it's important to stay hydrated because it can dry your mouth out.
Seriously, the dry mouth is the worst. I feel like I'm constantly drinking water. But honestly, it's much better than the alternative. I'm way more productive at work now.
I've experienced some weird skin discoloration. Has anyone else had this? I really don't like it, but I feel like my doctor won't take me seriously if I bring it up.
I'm curious about serotonin syndrome. What exactly causes that?
Don't forget to tell your doctor about any other medications you're taking. I found out the hard way that mixing this with my anxiety meds led to some pretty bad side effects.
