I was recently prescribed Roflumilast for my severe COPD with chronic bronchitis. I've had it for years, and the frequent flare-ups were taking a toll. My doctor assured me that Roflumilast could help reduce these exacerbations and improve my lung function by reducing inflammation. However, I was told it’s not for sudden breathing problems, which is a bit confusing. I’ve been on it for a month now and I’m curious to hear from others who have tried it. Has anyone else had a similar experience? What should I expect in the coming months?

I think it’s worth trying if you have severe COPD with chronic bronchitis. Just be prepared for some potential side effects and give it time to work.

I’ve heard it can cause weight loss in some people. Has anyone experienced that? It might be worth it if it means fewer flare-ups, but I’m worried about the side effects.

It’s important to note that Roflumilast doesn’t work for everyone. I tried it and didn’t see any improvement, but my doctor said it can take a while to kick in for some people.

Roflumilast is not a miracle drug, but it’s helped me manage my symptoms better. I still have bad days, but they’re not as frequent as they used to be.

I’ve been on Roflumilast for about six months now, and it’s made a huge difference in my flare-ups. I still have to be careful, though—it’s not a cure-all.

Has anyone else noticed any side effects? I’ve been having some nausea and diarrhea, which is making me second-guess whether it’s worth it.
