I was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) a few months ago, and my doctor prescribed Daurismo (glasdegib) 25mg tablets. I'm hoping to hear from others who have gone through similar experiences. What are the most common side effects you've dealt with? Did any of them surprise you? This drug can cause some pretty serious side effects, so I'm looking for any tips on managing them if they do occur. Thanks for sharing your stories and advice!

I had some electrolyte issues. The weirdest thing was the muscle spasms. I was shaking like a leaf. It was scary and also funny in its own way.

I have been on Daurismo for a year now, and it's been a rollercoaster. The muscle weakness and tenderness were the worst for me. Just make sure if you experience anything like that, you reach out to your doctor right away. I was hesitant at first but it made a huge difference. Also, I found that keeping a journal of my symptoms helped me manage them better. It’s easy to let things slip by when everything is happening so fast.

I was on Daurismo for about 6 months and the worst side effects I had were muscle pain and fatigue. It was rough, but my doctor had me do some light physical therapy which helped. Stay hydrated and listen to your body!

I've been on Daurismo for a while and honestly, the fatigue and weakness are the worst. But, it's been three months and I have regular check-ins with my oncologist. They’re really good about changing the dosage and monitoring the side effects. Plus, I track my symptoms and if something new comes up, I can show them the whole timeline and they can see exactly what happened and when. It's made a big difference in managing the side effects.

I think Daurismo is amazing. I was on strong chemotherapy before, and this is like a walk in the park. No hair loss and manageable side effects. Just stay on top of the blood tests and tell your doctor if anything feels off.

I had trouble with bleeding issues. I ended up in the ER with unexplained bruises and some pretty scary symptoms. Turns out, I was having a reaction to the drug. Don't ignore anything unusual, even if it seems minor.
